The Calgary Underground Film Festival and themovierad.com present a weekend long celebration of Rad and BMX

Calling all BMX fans! Don’t miss your opportunity to experience the ultimate BMX cult classic Rad during the films 25th anniversary and first official reunion of cast and crew. Fans also have the chance to meet and mingle with legendary BMX riders and HellTrack racers.

Riders of all ages can participate in BMX races, autograph sessions and bike tours of film locations. And don’t forget to explore the Rad museum!

BCAA is searching the biggest Canucks fan who wants to support his (or her) favourite team, no matter what. If you think you are this guy (or girl), you can apply for the "official BCAA Booster guy or gal" job and you will win a free ticket to every Canucks home game starting November 20, regular appearances on the scoreboard and, of course, a lot of "semi-fame" :P.

All you have to do is to follow those easy three steps:

1. Create a 60 second video where you are showing your love for your favorite team (this will not be so difficult, right?)
2. Upload the video on youtube
3. E-mail the URL to booster@bcaa.com

You can search in our online database and find a ride-match in your area. To encourage commuters to use this online system, all those who sign up during Ride-Share Week (October 4-8, 2010) will be entered to win prizes such as gas coupons, ferry vouchers, and a chance to win a rail trip for two through the Rockies. Cost: $25 per person except as noted

Full team payment on check-in at 8:40am. We start play at 9:00am.

Effective immediately, registrants shall prepay the full team tournament entry fee, in advance of 3 weeks, to the start date, to hold a team spot for the event. If a team withdraws from the event 3 days before the start date they forfeit their entire team fee.
