Operation Red Nose in BC

The mission of Operation Red Nose is ‘to encourage responsible behavior (in a non-judgmental manner) with regard to impaired driving by enabling communities to provide a free and confidential chauffeur service to their members, the financial benefits of which are redistributed to local organizations dedicated to youth.

In Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley you can call 1-877-604-6673 or (604) 532-0888 for a ride, or call (604) 532-0888 for information. Services in BC are provided in communities such as Abbotsford-Mission, Comox Valley, Delta-Richmond, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Surrey-Langley, Nanaimo, North Shore, Prince George, Ridge-Meadows, and the Tri-Cities.

2011 REMEMBRANCE DAY

Commemorate the sacrifices and contributions of Canadian soldiers in past and current warfare at a Remembrance Day ceremony in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Wear the symbolic red poppy of the poem In Flanders Fields and honour veterans and those who died in battle on November 11, 2011 which marks the day World War I officially ended in 1918.

Take part in this important day of remembrance at a ceremony or visit one of hundreds of sites across British Columbia which commemorate the lives of those who served in the war.

Heading to the Island? Check out Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park!

On August 31st, vertical guide Shane Bracegirdle rappeled down inside the Riverbend Cave at Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park, near Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, showing the visitors examples of stalagmites, while guiding them through the section nicknamed the "Bobsled Run".

8th Annual Boardroom Ride

The 8th Annual Boardromm Ride is a fun and simple way to put a smile on the face of a local chronically ill and or underprivileged child!

We invite every Harley-Davidson riders to join the ride and to support Kids up Front, and the good work they do by providing access to arts, culture, sports and recreation for kids who's circumstances otherwise prevent the opportunity.
